VILLA CATALAN -  Snow Safari Ltd  - Booking Conditions in English.

These holidays are operated by Snow Safari Ltd , Company   No UK2362844  as booking agent. Head Office - Snow Safari Ltd,16 Brookdale Close, Upminster, Essex RMl4 2LU,  England

The attention of the holiday participant is drawn to the conditions below which constitute the contract between the holiday participant and Snow Safari Ltd.

"We confirm that we are complying with EEC directive 90314EEC on package holidays. The Snow Safari Trust Fund was set up by us and this means that all payments made by consumers to the Trust are protected. In the event of insolvency or bankruptcy of Snow Safari Ltd, all money that had been paid into the fund will be refunded".

Reservations   To make a booking a deposit of 30% of the total amount is required once the holiday is confirmed and should be posted to UK office (address above).  Cheques should be made out to the Snow Safari Trust Fund.
The Snow Safari Trust Fund was set up by us and this means that all payments made by consumers to the Trust are protected. In the event of insolvency or bankruptcy of Snow Safari Ltd, all money that had been paid into the fund will be refunded”.    
The Trust Fund is operated by Backhousejones Solicitors, The Printworks, Hey Road, Clitheroe, Lancashire BB7 9WD.

Payment:     You will be required to pay the balance of the total holiday cost to reach our UK  office not later than eight weeks before your scheduled departure.  If you make your booking within the eight week period prior to your departure, you must pay in full at time of booking.

Cancellation by you: Cancellations must be in writing and signed by the holiday participant who made the booking. These can be sent by letter, fax or email. Cancellations take effect from the date this written notice is received by Snow Safari Ltd. If you cancel, you will be liable to the following fees:
More than 56 days: Loss of deposit
42 to 56 days: 50% of holiday cost
28 to 41 days: 60% of holiday cost
15 to 27 days : 80% of holiday cost
less than l5 day s l00% of holiday cost.

Change/Cancellation by us:  If we advise you of a major change or if we have to cancel your accommodation  you can either accept any alternative offered or cancel your booking and receive a full and prompt refund.  Compensation will not be payable if we are forced to cancel or in any way change your holiday due to war, or threat of war, riots, civil commotion, industrial disputes, disaster, terrorist activities, technical or other events outside our control. 

Passports and Visas:
A full passport is required by British subjects trips to Europe, and this should be valid for six months after the date of your scheduled return home.  If you are not a British national  other regulations may apply and you should check with the nearest embassy of the country you intend to visit.  Information on health is contained in the Department of Health leaflet The Travellers Guide to Health” available from most Post Offices. You should obtain a Form E111 prior to departure. It is your responsibility to ensure that you and all members of your party are in possession of all necessary travel and health documents before departure.
 

Property Changeover Arrangements
The villa  will be available for occupancy from 4pm  on your day of arrival. To allow time for cleaning and preparation that on your departure day you vacate the villa by l0 am.  If you are departing late in the day we will endeavour to provide a place for your luggage.  A condition of booking is that homebound holidaymakers leave the property in a reasonably clean condition   If excess cleaning is required it will be charged to the departing client at 25 € per hour / per cleaner midweek and 35 € per hour / per cleaner at weekends.

BreakageCleaning Deposit
In line with all accommodation agents, we charge a breakage / cleaning deposit on arrival of 250 €. This will be returned to you on departure assuming all is in order when our cleaners have checked out the accommodations.

Satellite                                                                      
We endeavour to offer satellite tv with English/German speaking channels.  However loss of English speaking channels as a result of weather, or any technical problems are outside Snow Safari Ltd’s control and no compensation can be offered for loss on English speaking channels.

Accommodation Rules and Regulations
The Villa Catalan has proved very popular with guests and it is  hoped and expected that guests will relax, feel at home and enjoy themselves.   In the extremely unlikely case of unsociable and unreasonable behaviour leading to  complaints from neighbours etc,  Snow Safari Ltd would have the right to terminate the accommodation arrangements of a client and will not be liable to pay refunds for  services subsequently not rendered and expenses incurred by guests who have had their accommodation terminated because of their behaviour

Local Safety Regulations: 
Regrettably, safety standards and regulations in operation overseas vary from country to country. The enforcement and compliance with these local regulations is a matter for the authorities of that country. The general standards of safety, hygiene, fire precautions etc. will be generally lower than in the UK.  Liability insurance requirements vary considerably from country to country as does the responsibility placed on organisations by local law. Please take all reasonable precautions to protect yourself and your family whilst on holiday.


Complaints    
In the unlikely event that you have any reason to complain or experience any problems with your holiday   you should addess your complaint in our local representataives, who will do their best to resolve any problems immediately.   In addition, if you wish to make a written complaint full details must be sent to our Head Office s, by Recorded Delivery within 28 days of your return to the UK.  However, we must first have notification in resort of any possible problems.  We cannot accept complaints once you return home if you have not followed this course of action. We can also  not accept  any complaints received more than 28 days after your return home.   (While every effort will be made to correct your problem we do have often to rely on local tradesmen to carry out repairs. This can in same areas not be of a speed we are used to in the U.K.) 

This contract is made on the terms of these booking conditions which are governed by English law and clients shall submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
